The summer solstice is the longest day in the northern hemisphere; the sun is at its brightest and closest to mother earth, strengthening and energizing us. Weyu blesses us with its warm light and heat, bringing the ripening of mother earth's fruits and into our lives.

This year, we held a ceremony in the sacred space created when we share our stories. We combined apprenticeship and ritual. In this ceremony, Akutu brought a brief episode of our Remembering Series to honor the sun and ancestors. She taught us how to sing and play a Kiskeya ceremonial Afro-Taino song performed around the summer solstice on traditional Taino instruments.

The cost is on a sliding scale of $45-$55-$65. This will provide you with lifetime access to the course. The recording is hosted on a private YouTube channel. You must have a YouTube account to access the recording as it is registered to your email address. If the email you used to purchase the course registration/replay is different than your YouTube account email address, please email Kristina at ceremoniessacredtainohealing@gmail.com with the your YouTube account email address to ensure access.

Thanks for taking a vow to remember our Taino's ways.

We will see you soon!
